Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Test Director to support U.S. Army and DoD test and evaluation programs.

You will lead test preparation, instrumentation, data collection, and analysis to ensure successful test events and TRRs, coordinating with ranges, offices, and internal teams. The role requires coordinating with diverse engineering teams, maintaining safety and verification standards, and driving continuous improvement of instrumentation and processes for directed energy and kinetic

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• 4+ years in DoD-related test & evaluation roles.
• Experience coordinating with DoD program offices and test ranges.
• Experience developing TRRs and planning test events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to analyze system outputs (HEL/HPM/KE) and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, organization, and execution of DE and Kinetic T&E programs for the US Army and other DoD customers.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technicians in design, analysis, planning, and execution of tests for directed energy and kinetic systems (including UAS).
• Coordinate with program offices, test ranges, range safety teams, and internal stakeholders for safety reviews and safe execution of tests.
• Assist in developing and executing test program plans, defining objectives and verification methods.
• Support development, maintenance, and upgrade of test instrumentation, coordinating with data collection teams during tests.
• Develop Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and other test documentation to ensure proper planning and resourcing.
• Execute test events, support real-time data collection, and contribute to post-test analysis and reporting.
• Identify and leverage company resources to achieve project objectives while supporting schedule and cost control.
