Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks a Test Director to lead RADAR system testing across developmental and operational environments. You will plan, coordinate, and execute testing, evaluate performance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires directing a multidisciplinary team across laboratories and customer sites. Candidate will oversee test data collection and analysis, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to program management.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in systems testing, test management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in RADAR system testing, development, or operations.
• Experience planning and executing developmental and operational testing for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of RADAR system principles, components and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with test and evaluation methodologies (DT OT).
• Knowledge of DoD testing policies and directives.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret possible).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and schedules for RADAR testing.
• Define test objectives, scope, and success criteria.
• Coordinate with IPT, engineering, and logistics teams for test readiness.
• Direct and oversee laboratory, field, and operational test activities.
• Monitor test execution and safety, halt testing if needed.
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary test team.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data and findings.
• Prepare detailed test reports, briefings, and lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with DoD policies and cybersecurity and environmental standards.
• Support SICO activities to ensure proper integration of system components.
