Job summary

Radiance Technologies, Inc. seeks a Directed Energy Test Technician to support the Test and Training Group. The role involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with DoD specs and engineering instructions.

Responsibilities include assembling and integrating UAS platforms, conducting live-fire test support, and documenting procedures. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a clearance; 2+ years of hands-on technical

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate degree or trade certification preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical maintenance or field service experience.
• Proficiency in soldering, crimping, splicing, cable fabrication, and control panel building.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and maintain UAS platforms to meet target profiles.
• Serve as remote pilot in command for UAS target flights during live-fire testing.
• Integrate sensors, telemetry, and tracking gear onto UAS platforms.
• Perform pre-flight inspections and post-flight maintenance.
• Draft Test Incident Reports documenting hardware or software failures.
• Travel up to 25% for extended periods.
