Job summary

Radiance Technologies in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Senior Directed Energy Test Technician to support the Test and Training Group. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electronic systems per DoD specs, read diagrams and blueprints, and multi-task across projects.

Responsibilities include assembling and testing components, operating lab and field test setups for HEL and HPM targets, documenting procedures, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years hands-on technical maintenance or field service experience.
• High school diploma required; assoc degree or trade cert preferred.
• Proficiency in soldering, crimping, splicing, cable fabrication, and control panel building.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test mechanical and electrical components per drawings and procedures.
• Operate lab and field test equipment for HEL and HPM tests.
• Draft Test Incident Reports and test documentation.
• Train junior technicians and support multiple projects concurrently.
• Follow safety protocols for high‑power lasers and high‑voltage systems.
