Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks a Test Director to lead RADAR system testing across developmental and operational phases. You will plan, coordinate, and execute testing, oversee a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safety, compliance, and objective data collection.

Strong leadership, DoD policy knowledge, and security clearance are required. You will drive test strategy, manage risks, and deliver comprehensive reports to program management while collaborating with engineering, logistics, and government

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years in systems testing or test management.
• Minimum of 5 years in RADAR system testing, development, or operations.
• Experience planning and executing developmental and operational testing for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of RADAR system principles, components, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with test and evaluation methodologies, including DT/OT.
• Knowledge of DoD testing policies and directives.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Active security clearance (Secret with the possibility of Top Secret).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and schedules for RADAR testing.
• Direct and oversee laboratory, field, and operational testing activities.
• Lead a multidisciplinary test team and coordinate with government test agencies.
• Oversee data collection and analysis to evaluate RADAR performance against requirements.
• Prepare detailed test reports, briefings, and after-action reviews for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure testing complies with standards, regulations, and cybersecurity/environmental requirements.
• Integrate digital engineering tools and methodologies into the test process.
