Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks an experienced Test Director to lead RADAR system testing across development and deployment phases. You will plan, coordinate, and execute developmental and operational tests while guiding a multidisciplinary team and interfacing with government agencies.

The role requires strong leadership, deep RADAR knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex results to diverse audiences. A DoD-focused background and active clearance are highly valued.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in EE/ME/Systems Eng.
• 10+ years in systems testing or test management.
• 5+ years in RADAR system testing.
• Experience planning and executing developmental and operational testing (DT/OT).
• Strong understanding of RADAR principles and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with DoD testing policies and directives.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance (Top Secret clearance if needed).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and schedules for RADAR testing.
• Direct and oversee all RADAR testing activities (lab, field, operational).
• Lead a multidisciplinary test team and coordinate with government agencies.
• Oversee data collection and analysis to evaluate system performance.
• Prepare detailed test reports, after-action reviews, and briefings.
