Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Test Conductor/ Principal Test Conductor at Pax River, MD. The role involves training Navy personnel, supporting system operations, and sustaining mission readiness with hands-on testing expertise.

Expect 35% travel and rotation between orbits/backfills with training responsibilities, while collaborating with NGC engineering and DoD customers to ensure system readiness and performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and 6 years of related professional/military experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years, or a Master’s degree and 0 years.
• Must have an active US Government clearance with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Final Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance and willingness to counterintelligence polygraph if required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Northrop Grumman and customer Flight Engineers, aircraft maintenance technicians, US Navy personnel, and SMEs to sustain operations.
• Serve as primary interface between Navy maintenance and the Degrader Action Cell (DAC).
• Oversee Vehicle and Payload Test Controller operations during start-up/shut down, conduct ground tests, and troubleshoot.
