Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Test Conductor for the Edwards AFB, CA area. The role centers on coordinating ship-side support between maintenance and engineering, performing initial troubleshooting, and developing testing procedures for flight and ground tests.

The candidate will mentor staff, adjudicate procedures, and ensure readiness for 4/10 second shift, with opportunities for bonuses and recognized contributions in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher with years of related professional/military experience as specified.
• Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (background check within last 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance prior to employment.
• Willingness to work 4/10 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Flight Test maintenance and Flight Test engineering.
• Provide initial troubleshooting support and develop procedures, including re-test procedures.
• Coordinate between maintenance and engineering leadership teams.
• Train new engineering staff in flight test and ground test basics.
• Adjudicate maintenance procedures and delayed actions.
