Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking a Test Center Representative to administer tests, score materials, and train placement testing. The role requires fluctuating hours, including nights and weekends, and handling inquiries from students and staff.

Responsibilities include setting up tests, monitoring administration, scoring, and ensuring security of tests and records. The position may offer remote or hybrid options and includes comprehensive PBSC benefits.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED with additional training related to the position
• One year of related experience
• Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
• Skilled in: Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
• Ability to: Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service

Responsibilities

• Sets up tests according to established protocol.
• Monitors the administration of various tests.
• Scores and electronically submits test scores.
• Responds to complex inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions.
• Directs students to proper portions of testing software and addresses minor problems.
• Ensures security and confidentiality of tests and records.
• Provides reading and scribe services for students with disabilities.
• Welcomes and assists people entering the department.
• Provides administrative support to the department.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
