Qualifications

  • Welcomes and assists people entering the department.
  • Provides administrative support to the department.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

About this role
  • Responsible for administering various tests, scoring and processing related materials.
  • Conducts training for placement testing and responds to inquiries.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots minor technical issues during the testing process as per established policies.
  • Position requires the ability to work a fluctuating schedule, including nights and weekends.
What a day of a Test Center Representative looks like
  • Sets up tests according to established protocol.
  • Monitors the administration of various tests.
  • Scans, scores and electronically submits test scores.
  • Responds to complex inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions, such as clarification of College or Campus policy and procedures.
  • Directs students to proper portions of testing software and addresses minor problems.
  • Ensures security and confidentiality of State, national, and college tests and records, scoring procedures and data collection and reporting.
  • Provides students with disabilities with reading and scribe services.
  • Welcomes and assists persons who come into the department.
  • Provides administrative support to the department.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $16.51 hourly; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience. This position is open until filled with an initial review date of September 8, 2026.
