Job summary

Unplugged Performance, Hawthorne, CA, seeks an enthusiastic sales advisor to help Tesla owners select high‑end upgrades. You’ll engage with customers by phone, email, chat and social media, turning interest into orders and appointments with uncapped commissions.

You’ll build trust in enthusiast communities, serve as a product expert, and coordinate installs while delivering an outstanding customer experience from inquiry to delivery.

Qualifications

• Sales experience with commission-based structure.
• Active social media presence and ability to engage communities.
• Proven ability to build trust in online communities.
• Strong automotive background; Tesla/EV knowledge a plus.
• Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience before and after the sale.
• Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Excel, email, and CRM systems.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Talk with current and prospective customers by phone, email, chat, and social media to help choose upgrades.
• Turn inbound interest into orders and appointments with commission-based rewards.
• Work warm and cold leads with energy to convert to customers.
• Be an active presence in Tesla owner communities and build relationships that become customers.
• Act as sales and parts/service advisor, explaining fitment, lead times, and needs.
• Book install appointments and coordinate vehicle drop-offs and pickups at Hawthorne facility.
• Enter and manage orders with production, warehouse, and shipping teams.
• Follow up after the sale so customers know order status and next steps.
• Become a genuine product expert on Unplugged Performance offerings.
