Job summary

Unplugged Performance, the world’s leading builder of high-performance upgrades for Tesla, is hiring in Hawthorne, CA. You’ll be the first point of contact for enthusiasts, helping spec suspension, wheels, aero, and brakes, and guiding customers from first inquiry to delivery.

This role rewards prospecting and closing with uncapped commissions; base pay is $18/hour, plus commissions, with potential earnings of six figures. You’ll engage in online communities and work alongside a passionate team.

Qualifications

• Sales experience with commission-based compensation.
• Active personal social media presence and online engagement.
• Ability to build trust in online communities and convert to business.
• Strong automotive background; Tesla/EV knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent customer experience mindset before and after sale.
• Strong organization and follow-up discipline.
• Patience handling enthusiastic customers and questions.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfort with Excel, email, and CRM.
• Interested in an in-office role five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Talk with customers by phone, email, chat, and social media to recommend upgrades.
• Turn inbound interest into orders and appointments with commissions.
• Work warm and cold leads to convert to customers.
• Engage in Tesla owner communities to build relationships that convert.
• Explain fitment, lead times, install requirements, and needs.
• Book install appointments and coordinate Hawthorne drop-offs/pickups.
• Enter and manage orders with production, warehouse, and shipping.
• Provide post-sale follow-up and product expertise.
