Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a field-based sales professional to maximize revenue across the assigned territory in New Jersey. You will manage accounts, educate veterinarians, and drive growth through strategic planning and targeted outreach.

The role requires travel, some evenings, and the ability to live within the territory. Strong consultative selling, analytics, and relationship-building with hospitals are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
• 3–10 years of consultative sales experience.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Animal health experience and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Zoetis systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet overall sales objectives (quota) and drive key growth products via demand generation in targeted geography.
• Launch new products/service offerings and generate new equipment leads.
• Consistently demonstrate solution selling.
• Build and demonstrate veterinary practice expertise and relationships with hospitals/personnel.
• Interact with customers per Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation to maximize ROI.
• Meet field activity expectations and invest in medical education programs.
• Develop and execute account/veterinarian call-cycle to meet reach/frequency expectations.
