Job summary

PBI-Gordon Companies, including Pegasus Laboratories, and PetAg, Inc., is seeking a PRN Pharmacal Sales Representative I in the Dallas, TX area. You will call on veterinary customers and coordinate with distributor partners to grow product sales and market share in the animal health sector.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with orders, answering product questions, launching new products, and maintaining veterinary practice expertise while traveling within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, agribusiness, or a related field, or a credentialed Veterinary Technician designation (RVT, LVT, CVT).
• 0–2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the animal health or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience calling on and managing distributor accounts and managing a geographically large sales territory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales objectives (quota) both overall and for key growth products via demand generation within assigned territory.
• Successfully launch new and defend legacy products.
• Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan / Resource Allocation per our expectations – effectively implementing the full complement of PRN resources and following up to maximize ROI.
• Meet field activity expectations including sales call activity and investment in medical education programs.
