Job summary

PBI-Gordon Companies (Pegasus Laboratories, Inc.) is seeking a PRN Pharmacal Sales Representative I to call on veterinary customers in Pittsburgh, PA, and collaborate with distributors to grow product sales. You will handle orders, answer product questions, and expand product awareness within the territory.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with hospitals and veterinary personnel, developing a Territory Business Plan, meeting sales quotas, and launching both new and legacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, agribusiness, or a related field, or a credentialed Veterinary Technician designation (RVT, LVT, CVT).
• 0–2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably animal health/pharma.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Up to 100% travel – must reside within 50 miles from center of assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales objectives (quota) both overall and for key growth products via demand generation within assigned territory.
• Successfully launch new and defend legacy products.
• Consistently build and demonstrate technical knowledge and veterinary practice expertise.
• Build relationships with hospitals and personnel to maintain and grow access within each account.
• Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan and allocate resources accordingly.
• Meet field activity expectations including sales calls and medical education programs.
• Develop and execute a call-cycle at account and veterinarian level to meet reach/frequency expectations.
• Leverage CRM tools to enhance customer relationships.
• All other tasks as requested or assigned.
