Job summary

PBI-Gordon Companies is seeking a Sales Representative I to call on veterinary customers and partner with distributors to grow product sales. You will support orders, answer product questions, and expand awareness within your assigned Washington, DC territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, agribusiness, or a related field, or a credentialed Veterinary Technician designation (RVT, LVT, CVT).
• 0–2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the animal health or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); up to 100% travel within 50 miles of territory center.

Responsibilities

• Call on veterinary customers and work with distributor partners to grow product sales.
• Assist customers with orders and answer questions on a wide range of products.
• Launch new and defend legacy products within assigned territory.
• Meet sales objectives (quota) and execute a Territory Business Plan.
