Job summary

Pace Transportation Services is seeking an Outside Equipment Sales Representative to drive revenue in an assigned territory by selling new and used trailers and related transport equipment.

You will prospect, nurture relationships with fleet operators, owner-operators, and commercial customers, deliver consultative solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from lead to delivery. Some travel is expected. This role offers a competitive base with commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment or transportation-related sales preferred.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare pricing, proposals, and product information.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customer relationships within an assigned territory.
• Manage and grow existing book of business and identify opportunities.
• Sell new and used trailers and related products in alignment with pricing and inventory strategies.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing and terms within authorized levels.
• Serve as the primary contact throughout the sales process.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess needs and build partnerships.
• Coordinate with service, parts, and operations teams for a smooth experience.
• Maintain sales activity, pipeline, and forecast data in CRM.
