Territory Storage Center Operations Manager

Job summary

PODS is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee two or more storage centers within a designated territory. You will direct day-to-day operations, supervise center staff, and ensure routing and customer expectations are met.

You will maintain OSHA, DOT and preventative maintenance programs for the centers and equipment, manage assets, report performance, coach staff, and drive safety, efficiency and compliance across the territory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years of prior management experience.
• CDL Class B License or higher is preferred.
• Current/valid driver license from the state of assignment.
• PODS forklift certification and DOT medical card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, identify and retain top talent.
• Provide daily support to include coaching and hands-on/ride-along training for associates.
• Support a culture aligned with PODS core values (Integrity, Delighting Customers, Engagement, Accountability, Support Through Teamwork).
• Effectively administer PODS performance management process.
• Report employee issues to Territory Manager and Regional HRBP in a timely manner; maintain ongoing communication with HR for personnel management, accident reports and evaluations.
• Provide regular communication to team members including goals, results and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure daily pre-shift meetings are conducted at each Storage Center.
