Job summary

PODS in Bristol, CT is seeking a Storage Center Manager to oversee two or more storage centers within a designated territory. You will direct day-to-day operations, manage routing and driver assignments, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT and maintenance programs.

You will recruit and develop staff, coach associates, reinforce PODS values, monitor customer satisfaction, and maintain assets. Regular pre-shift meetings, safety adherence, and local permit compliance are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred or 3+ years of prior management experience.
• Ability to obtain PODS forklift certification; CDL Class B preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver license and DOT medical card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of two or more storage centers within territory.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train and retain top talent; coach and ride-along training.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT and maintenance programs are followed; manage driver routing.
• Monitor customer experience, meet CSAT targets and address issues promptly.
• Maintain safe, clean facilities and manage assets including trucks and containers.
• Lead regular pre-shift meetings and communicate goals and results to the team.
