Johnson Brothers Liquor Company, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, invites you to join our Des Moines, IA team as a Sales Representative.

The role focuses on growing an established spirits portfolio within On/Off-Premise accounts and opening new business in the assigned territory through consultative selling.

Success requires relationship-building, promotional knowledge, and strong customer service; a BS degree or equivalent and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year minimum at a Sales Representative role or higher.
• BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work outside 8-5 schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer contact.
• Plan and execute sales initiatives.
• Handle all customer-related issues promptly and kindly.
• Fully understand products and promotional schedules.
• Make effective sales presentations.
• Achieve assigned company objectives and grow business.
• Identify and nurture new and undersold accounts.
• Use POS to enhance selling efforts.
• Know all deals, programming and initiatives the company has.
• Follow necessary steps when making sales calls.
• Provide reliable and consistent customer service.
