Job summary

Stine Seed Company in Nebraska is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Phelps, Gosper, Furnas, and Harlan counties and grow the business with corn and soybean seed products.

You will be the primary ambassador of the Stine brand in the assigned territory, maintaining agronomic and technical product knowledge and recruiting and supporting dealer partners to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of agricultural experience including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques, with strong negotiation skills and ability to overcome obstacles.
• Track record in dealer development and retention.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the territory.
• Manage existing accounts & recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine s sales programs and policies within the territory to meet sales goals for the district.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, personally or through a designated seller.
