Job summary

Stine Seed Company in Marion, IL is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Marion, Jefferson, and Clay Counties. You will serve as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand, develop agronomic knowledge of seed products, manage existing accounts and recruit new ones to grow sales.

You will work with the Regional Sales Agronomist to deliver high-level support, build relationships with growers, and meet district sales goals through proactive communication and demonstrated selling

Qualifications

• Three or more years of ag experience including agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques with the ability to negotiate and overcome obstacles.
• Track record of dealer development and retention.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the territory.
• Develop agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine sales programs to meet district goals.
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Agronomist to provide sales support.
• Build relationships with customers and prospective buyers.
