Job summary

Forklifts of Des Moines & Omaha is seeking a Territory Sales Representative based in Des Moines, IA to generate new business and manage existing accounts in the material handling equipment space.

You will prospect, cold call, visit sites, prepare proposals, and collaborate with service, parts, and rental teams to fulfill customer needs while maintaining strong relationships and reporting territory activity in the CRM.

Travel within the territory is required to meet customers and assess sites.

Qualifications

Strong customer relationships and communication skills.
Ability to manage sales pipeline and use CRM tools.
Self-motivated with accountability; able to work independently or in a team.
Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
HS diploma or equivalent; business/marketing education is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prospect and cold call new business in the assigned territory.
Visit customers on-site to assess needs and present solutions.
Prepare proposals and quotes and follow up to close sales.
Collaborate with service, parts, and rental teams.
Track sales activities in a CRM and report territory performance.
