Merck is seeking a Territory Representative to cover the Southern Detroit, MI region. You will sell Animal Health products to veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts while collaborating with field teams to execute customer-centric strategies.

The role requires strong communication, strategic planning, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Remote work options may be available, with relocation not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant work experience or
• Bachelor’s Degree with 0–3 years sales experience.
• Experience in professional sales, distribution, marketing, veterinary/healthcare/scientific field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Communicates our Animal Health product portfolio in a meaningful, customer-specific way.
• Primary contact for assigned customers; meet decision-makers to understand practice structure and opportunities.
• Develop territory and account plans; collaborate with National/Corporate teams and distribution partners.
• Foster One Company approach; share knowledge across the region to drive growth.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
• Identify programs within Animal Health resources to address customer needs and provide education and training.
