Job summary

Merck in the United States is seeking a Territory Representative to cover the Southern Detroit, MI area. You will engage veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts to offer Animal Health solutions and drive sales growth within your territory.

In this role, you will partner with field teams, deliver tailored product knowledge, and implement pull-through programs aligned with customer needs, while traveling up to 50% and maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant sales or veterinary/healthcare experience or marketing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate about our Animal Health portfolio to customers in a meaningful, needs-based way.
• Primary point of contact for assigned accounts, meet with key decision makers.
• Develop territory and account plans with partners to drive sales growth.
• Collaborate to foster a One Company approach and share knowledge regionally.
