Job summary

Merck is seeking a Territory Representative to cover the Southern Detroit, MI area in Animal Health. You will engage veterinary clinics, shelters and corporate accounts, presenting our AH portfolio and driving sales opportunities with a customer-centric approach.

You will collaborate with field teams, analyze monthly results and customize programs to meet client needs while representing The Science of Healthier Animals. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 5+ years in sales or veterinary/healthcare fields.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Animal Health product portfolio to customers with relevance to each client.
• Primary contact for assigned customers and meet decision-makers to identify opportunities.
• Develop territory/account plans and collaborate with partners to drive sales growth.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
