Job summary

Carboline is seeking a Sales Representative to cover the Northeast Territory, focusing on Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. The role involves selling to established accounts and growing new business, with a hunter mentality and experience in the paints and coatings industry.

This position reports to the Northeast Region Director of Sales. The compensation structure ranges from base salary to full commission, with potential transition to a commission-based plan after about 24

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Business or a Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years sales and/or business development experience in the fireproofing or protective coatings industry.
• NACE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calling on new and existing customers to build sales volume and monitor customer requirements.
• Informing customers about products, new releases, and services and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Secure and renew orders and coordinate with customer services and sales management to meet service levels.
• Develop a sales program within the territory based on planning and available business.

Education
