Job summary

Carboline is seeking a Sales Representative to cover the Northeast Territory, with a focus on the New York Metro area. You will sell to existing customers and cultivate new prospects to grow volume, revenue and profitability, reporting to the Northeast Region Director of Sales.

Bachelor's in Business or technical degree; 4+ years' sales or business development in fireproofing or protective coatings; travel up to 60%; prior industrial sales and NACE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business or a Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years sales and/or business development experience in the fireproofing or protective coatings industry.
• Previous industrial sales experience and NACE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calling on new and existing customers to build sales volume and monitor customer requirements.
• Inform customers about products, new releases, services, supply, and provide technical assistance when needed.
• Secure and renew orders; coordinate with customer services and sales management for servicing levels.
• Builds and maintains a sales program within the territory based on prospecting and market trends.
• Champion the company's safety and quality programs and ensure customer satisfaction.
