Job summary

Shaw Sports Turf is seeking a Territory Development Manager for Northern California to expand market coverage and develop high-potential sellers toward independent Territory Manager roles. You will train, co-sell, and gradually own a defined sub-territory under guidance from an experienced manager.

You’ll travel regionally, build relationships with key stakeholders, and contribute to territory bookings while participating in trade shows and customer events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.
• Residence in the Bay Area or territory locality preferred.
• Ability to learn technical products and manage a complex project-based sales process.
• Self-motivated, coachable, accountable, customer-focused, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with owners, architects, contractors, dealers, end users, and market influencers.
• Identify, qualify, document, and advance project opportunities in the territory.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and product education.
• Support specifications, RFIs, and proposals within approved authority.
• Maintain accurate accounts and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Build territory coverage plans using market mapping and competitive intelligence.
• Coordinate with PM, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure strong customer experience.
• Represent Shaw Sports Turf at trade shows and events.
