Five Star Equipment has an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Representative for our Pocono Mountain Region, including Carbon, Monroe, Pike & Southern Wayne Counties. We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced sales professional to join our team. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the sale, rental, and leasing of all new and used John Deere equipment, parts, and service. The Sales Manager will develop partnerships with current and potential clients to grow market share in the territory.

Responsibilities
  • Be the primary contact for customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Schedule regular calls and visits to current and potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with customers to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business.
  • Demonstrate products, assist with technical presentations, and provide consultative support based on customer needs.
  • Sell equipment, parts, and services, building long-term relationships to maximize profitability.
  • Manage designated territories and customers to increase equipment sales.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets for units, revenue, and gross profit.
  • Promote and sell support services like maintenance contracts and repairs.
  • Provide trade-in information when requested.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training to stay current with products and programs.
  • Use CRM systems to manage call logs, prospect lists, and mileage.
  • Monitor competitors and communicate relevant information to management.
  • Maintain professional conduct and cooperate with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of successful outside sales experience in a competitive environment preferred.
  • 3-5 years in industrial, construction, or heavy equipment retail or rental sales preferred.
  • Ability to operate and demonstrate heavy equipment.
  • Proven success in growing sales, market share, and client base.
  • Proficiency with software such as CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and internet tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours in various environments.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
