Area Sales Manager - Agribusiness (Red River Valley, ND/MN)

This position supports agricultural retailers by promoting John Deere Financial sales finance programs and developing crop input finance solutions. The role involves building relationships, serving as a subject matter expert, and traveling approximately 50% within the geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Develop crop input finance programs to grow sales for agricultural retailers and provide solutions for their customers.
• Serve as a liaison between retailers and JDF resources to improve processes and solve problems.
• Act as a Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for the JDF agribusiness channel in this geographic footprint.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding market concerns, competition, and customer issues to support profitable growth.
• Develop retailer demand and increase awareness of JDF Multi-Use products.
• Focus on high potential accounts to ensure market penetration.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time for in-person meetings.
• Document sales calls and use information to enhance relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales, marketing, credit, or business.
• Strong relationship, communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, and execution skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically about 50% of the time.

• Understanding of JDF Multi-Use Account programs.
