Five Star Equipment has an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Representative for our Pocono Mountain Region, including Carbon, Monroe, Pike & Southern Wayne Counties. We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced sales professional to join our team. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the sale, rental, and leasing of all new and used John Deere equipment, parts, and service. The Sales Manager will develop partnerships with current and potential clients to grow Five Star Equipment’s market share in the territory.

We are committed to offering high-quality equipment, full-service repair facilities, large parts inventories, and dedicated employees for sales, parts, and service needs.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact with customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Schedule consistent calls and visits to current and potential customers.
  • Develop rapport with customers to maintain satisfaction and ensure ongoing business.
  • Demonstrate products, assist with technical presentations, and offer consultative assistance based on customer needs.
  • Sell equipment, parts, and services, building long-term relationships to maximize profitability.
  • Manage designated territories and customers to increase equipment purchases.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for units, revenue, and gross profit.
  • Promote and sell support services such as maintenance contracts and on-site fueling.
  • Provide trade-in information when requested.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training to stay current with new equipment and programs.
  • Utilize CRM to manage call logs, prospect lists, and mileage.
  • Monitor competitors and communicate relevant information to management.
  • Maintain professional conduct and cooperate with all team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of successful outside sales experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years in industrial, construction, or heavy equipment sales preferred.
  • Ability to operate and demonstrate heavy equipment.
  • Proven success in growing sales, market share, and customer base.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as CRM, Microsoft Office, and internet functions.
  • Ability to travel, work flexible hours, and operate in demanding environments.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
