Area Sales Manager - Agribusiness (Red River Valley, ND/MN)

The role involves supporting agricultural retailers by promoting John Deere Financial sales finance programs and developing crop input finance solutions. The position requires travel within the geographic area, building relationships with retailers and growers, and serving as a subject-matter expert in the JDF agribusiness channel.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Developing crop input finance programs to increase sales and provide customer solutions.
2. Acting as a liaison between retailers and JDF resources to enhance processes and resolve issues.
3. Representing as the SME for the JDF agribusiness channel in the assigned region.
4. Communicating market insights and competitor information to stakeholders.
5. Growing demand and awareness of JDF products among retailers and growers.
6. Traveling approximately 50% for in-person meetings.
7. Documenting sales activities to improve relationships and strategies.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, credit, or related business fields.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and planning skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically around 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of JDF Multi-Use Account programs.
• Experience in agriculture, crop inputs, or related markets.
• Sales experience with financial services or equipment.
• Proven track record of improving business performance.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing/Sales, Finance, or equivalent experience.
