Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (Territory Manager) in Tacoma, WA. You will promote sales and provide account service to assigned and potential customers while focusing on quotas, new business development, and customer relationships.

You will contact existing accounts and make cold calls onsite or by phone, with a goal to improve gross profit and secure new opportunities. Strong industry knowledge and a defined sales process are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.
• 5-7 years of sales experience are required.
• Prior sales success and a defined sales process are important for this role.
• Industrial gas experience and welding experience are preferred; Oil & Gas experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales and provide account service to assigned and potential customers.
• Focus on achieving sales quotas, developing new business, and maintaining customer relationships.
• Contact existing accounts and make cold calls to targets, onsite and via phone.
• Improve gross profit and secure new business opportunities.
• Enhance profitability of existing accounts by understanding and leveraging value propositions.
• Support and implement marketing plans, promotions, and new product launches.
• Secure long-term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements.
• Provide complete and accurate account setup and pricing data.
