Are you a driven sales professional passionate about prospecting, building relationships, and exceeding targets? Join us as a Territory Sales Manager and take ownership of growing our business in containers, ground-level offices, modular structures, and value-added solutions.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business through strategic planning, prospecting, lead conversion, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. You will foster long-term customer relationships via regular communication and exceptional service, using Salesforce CRM to manage performance and customer interactions. Staying informed on market trends and competitors, you will provide consultative solutions, prepare competitive quotes, and negotiate terms that meet customer needs and maximize profitability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure seamless project execution, along with maintaining accurate sales records and achieving performance goals through effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of This Role Include:
  1. Sales Growth & Prospecting: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan focusing on outbound prospecting (80%), inbound lead conversion (20%), and account development.
  2. Pipeline Management: Maintain and expand a sales pipeline by identifying prospects, market segments, and industries; convert leads into sales, emphasizing high-value projects.
  3. Customer Relationships: Build enduring partnerships by understanding customer needs, recommending tailored solutions, and delivering exceptional service. Use Salesforce CRM for tracking.
  4. Market & Product Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitors; conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and provide insights to management.
  5. Consultative Selling: Use a consultative approach to offer competitive pricing and value-based solutions, prepare accurate quotes, and negotiate terms beneficial to both parties.
  6. Performance Reporting: Utilize CRM tools to record sales activities and generate reports, tracking key metrics to meet goals and drive results.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and provide leadership within the team.
What You Possess for Success:

Skills & Experience:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience with 1+ year outbound prospecting or at WillScot.
  • Ability to travel 10-20%; role based in the branch with ~80% outbound cold-calling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Experience with high-volume, transactional sales cycles.
  • Leasing experience is a plus but not required.
  • A solution-selling approach is advantageous.
