Job Overview:

The Power Tools & Lifting segment of Ingersoll Rand has an opening for a Territory Sales Manager – Industrial and Lifting. This role will have responsibility for Distribution Sales in the Southeastern States (VA, NC, SC, GA, FL) for Pneumatic and Cordless Power Tools and Lifting products sold through Independent Specialty distributors and National Industrial Supply accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned channel partners/customers to drive results through the team.
  • Meet or exceed team targets identified to drive revenue growth.
  • Proactively contact current and potential customers for high-level relationships.
  • Partner with marketing on demand generation activities for an adequate pipeline.
  • Utilize all standard work tools/CRM for documentation and follow-up.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience in an industrial sales and service environment required.
  • Understanding of air and battery-powered power tools used in industrial settings, competitors, and applications.
  • Knowledge of multi-channel distribution functions and end-user selling experience preferred.
  • Proficient with various sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Must pass an MVR.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent interpersonal skills, including telephone and written communication.
  • Ability to communicate in a technical manner.

Travel & Work Arrangements:
  • This position is fully remote with regular travel within the territories.
  • 50-60% travel expected.
Pay Range:

The total pay range is $100,000 - $120,000, including incentives. Compensation depends on skills, experience, certifications, and location. Eligible for bonuses and incentive pay.
