Job summary

True North Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer to lead in your local Texas territory. You will build relationships with business owners, understand their benefits needs, and present tailored benefit solutions.

This role combines field sales leadership with hands-on coaching of new agents, running training sessions, role-plays, and review meetings. You’ll grow your client base while helping teammates succeed, with clear paths into leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven outside/B2B sales experience.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or training others in a sales setting.
• Clear presentation and public-speaking skills.
• Strong CRM usage and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business owners to assess needs and tailor insurance plans.
• Deliver engaging benefit presentations to employee groups.
• Follow up with clients and assist them with claims and coverage questions.
• Shadow and train new reps with hands-on coaching.
• Lead call reviews, prep sessions, and debriefs with new team members.
• Help new reps track progress and set weekly activity goals.
• Collaborate with your manager to build a strong sales team.
• Grow your own client book while guiding others to do the same.
