Job summary

Purple Wave Auction is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Northern Illinois to drive business development in construction, agriculture, fleet, and government sectors. You will build strong relationships with heavy equipment owners and buyers, manage the full auction process, and promote our services across a broad industrial landscape.

You will travel extensively (up to 75%), develop opportunities in Boone, LaSalle, Winnebago, and surrounding counties, and work with a dynamic team to achieve

Qualifications

• 3+ years successful sales experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Knowledge of construction, agriculture, fleet, or government industries is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and customers to increase Purple Wave's visibility.
• Educate clients in territory about equipment auction services and potential uses.
• Enter customer information and opportunities into CRM to maintain communication with the team.
• Ensure successful execution of all phases of the auction process and represent the company professionally.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote services and assets.
