Job summary

Purple Wave Auction is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive business in Northern Illinois. You will build relationships with heavy equipment owners across construction, ag, fleet, and government sectors, educate clients about our auction services, and manage opportunities in our CRM.

A robust benefits package and performance-based commissions await. This full-time exempt role requires up to 75% travel, strong sales skills, and a commitment to ethical, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years successful sales experience.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 75%).
• Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Requires the ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Candidates must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and potential customers to increase Purple Wave's visibility and brand recognition.
• Educate and inform clients within the assigned territory about equipment auction services and how to use them.
• Gather and enter customer information and opportunities in CRM to maintain communication across the team.
• Ensure successful execution and support of all phases of the auction process.
• Positively represent Purple Wave to heavy equipment owners, buyers, and sellers.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and similar events to promote services and assets.
