Job summary

PPG is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales and service targets in the Charleston-SC, Columbia-SC, Augusta-SC, and Savannah-GA markets. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work to grow the PPG Refinish line through distributors and direct customer engagement.

You should bring 5+ years of consultative selling experience, a Bachelor's degree in business management, and automotive refinish know-how.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent work experience.
5+ years proven track record in sales growth with consultative selling skills.
Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle meeting FAVR requirements, pass MVR review.

Responsibilities

Achieve annual sales plans for growth while managing costs, receivables, and expenses within targets.
Develop understanding of end customer requirements and regional business strategy.
Sell paint systems and sundry items through distribution for PPG Refinish brands.
Manage distributor relationships and develop sales talent; training and receivables.
In-depth knowledge of body shop/fleet operations to help profitability and efficiency.
Target and develop relationships with key dealers, MSOs, and collision centers.
Collaborate with team to grow market and maximize potential; 25% overnight travel.
Promote PPG value via presentations and product demos to prospects and customers.
Develop a sales territory with a strategic plan for new business.
