Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Texas is seeking a results-driven Territory Sales professional to expand the customer base across the assigned region. You will develop and execute territory sales plans, call on customers, provide technical solutions, and coordinate with internal teams to meet timelines.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or related experience with 2+ years of construction sales, a proven consultative selling track record, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience plus 2+ years of direct experience in construction-related sales
• Proven track record in consultative selling
• Strong construction background with ability to learn engineering concepts
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to expand existing customer base
• Solicit business by calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or in person visits
• Provide technical sales and application solutions for customers
• Prepare detailed proposals to solicit orders, close deals and win business
• Coordinate project specs with internal teams to meet customer timelines
• Maintain CRM database daily with sales calls and job site details
• Achieve annual territory sales KPI, revenue and growth targets
• Learn all technical aspects of equipment and provide training to customers
