Job summary

Elsevier Health is seeking a Sales Executive to lead nursing health education sales in Virginia territory. You will partner with higher education institutions, deliver consultative solutions, and drive adoption of Elsevier’s portfolio including Hesi, Sherpath, Adaptive Quizzing, Simulations and ebooks/books.

The role is field-based with weekly travel to customer sites; you will build trusted advisor relationships with college leadership and clinical faculty to improve student outcomes and

Qualifications

• Demonstrate experience with sales in technology, higher education or healthcare/publishing.
• Proven track record of B2B sales success.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Track record of successful customer engagement and driving customer adoption.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Live within designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Developing sales in assigned territory, including customer service, sales presentations, negotiation and training on both print and digital products.
• Driving successful implementation and adoption of the solution portfolio for the customers in your territory.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to Higher Education and C-suite professionals, providing in-depth product training, support and guidance aligned to the curriculum.
• Creating and delivering compelling presentations on Elsevier’s suite of products and how they can create a robust classroom experience.
• Tracking sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using Salesforce.com
