Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Sr. Sales Representative to drive sales within a defined geographic territory. The role centers on establishing and growing relationships with contractors and end users, and coordinating with marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development to present solutions.

You will manage territory business plans, respond to RFPs, and train customers on product features and benefits. This position requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-7 years of prior sales experience in electrical distribution or similar channel.
• Proven track record of successful contractor sales.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow account/end user relationships to meet/exceed goals.
• Develop and manage territory business plans including expenses and reports.
• Work with Engineer and Consulting community to promote specifications.
• Establish presence at state/local government levels for inspectors and code awareness.
• Coordinate with marketing, pre-sales engineering, and product management.
