Job summary

Amada in Kentucky is seeking a Sales Engineer to grow mutually beneficial relationships with customers across the territory, expanding product sales, service and aftermarket support. You will leverage the Amada Team, conduct customer demos, pursue new accounts, and coordinate orders with internal departments to ensure expeditious processing.

Frequent travel up to 5 days a week; strong sales, communication, and technical aptitude required.

Qualifications

• Must have professional sales experience.
• Highly organized with strong follow-up skills.
• Ability to generate leads and prospect new accounts.
• Capable of building rapport with customers and partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product sales and meet all sales and activity targets.
• Educate customers on Amada’s new technologies.
• Make routine sales calls to established customers.
• Develop new accounts through cold calling and guides.
• Lead customer demos at Solution and Technical Centers.
• Coordinate sales orders with internal teams to expedite processing.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect data in KM system.
• Stay informed on pricing updates.
