Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking an entry-level Sales Development Representative to grow POS sales across multiple retail accounts in Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. You will educate store associates on Generac’s products, answer questions, and support the dealer network for SF&I programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Effective presentation skills for small and large groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities according to importance and urgency.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
• Experience using CRM like Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Drive incremental sales growth by selling Generac product lines across multiple retail accounts and educating store associates and end users on product applications and specs.
• Collaborate with retail field leadership to execute in-store programs and drive awareness and sales.
• Collaborate with retail store management to ensure planograms are followed for portable generators and home standby units and properly stocked.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key decision-makers in assigned locations.
• Maintain and update records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market conditions in Salesforce.
