Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Sales Development Representative to grow POS sales across retail accounts. You will educate store associates on Generac products, assist customers, and support the dealer channel for specific SF&I programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive incremental sales growth by educating store associates and end users about Generac products and brand and by using in-depth knowledge of product application to assist customers in selecting the best product.
• Collaborate with retail field leadership to execute new in-store programs to drive awareness and increase sales.
• Collaborate with retail store management to ensure planograms are executed for portable generators and home standby units and are stocked with Generac products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers, key decision-makers, and other relevant personnel in assigned retail locations.
• Maintain and update records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market conditions in Salesforce.
