Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking an entry-level Sales Development Representative to grow POS sales at store level in a defined territory. You will educate store associates, answer consumer questions, and support the dealer channel for SF&I programs. You’ll work with retailer leadership to sell new ideas and expand the Generac brand in-store.

Compensation is $53,000 base plus commission. The role covers Michigan/Ohio and Wisconsin, with frequent local travel and close collaboration with retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Certification / License is not specified in this role; valid driver's license and ability to travel locally up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Drive incremental sales growth by selling Generac product lines across multiple retail accounts and educating staff on product specs.
• Collaborate with retail leadership to execute in-store programs to drive awareness and sales.
• Ensure planograms for portable generators and home standby units are accurate and stocked.
• Develop and maintain relationships with store managers and key decision-makers.
• Maintain records of sales activities and market conditions in Salesforce.
