Job summary

Swedish Match, a PMI U.S. affiliate and maker of ZYN nicotine pouches, seeks a Retail Team Manager to lead sales and execution within an assigned territory.

This player-coach role blends leadership with direct account management to drive retail sales, distribution, merchandising, promotional execution, and customer growth. You will lead and develop a team of sales representatives, manage accounts, analyze market data, optimize routing and reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in retail sales, wholesale grocery, route sales, or related fields.
• Proven leadership, coaching, planning, organizational, and team management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve regional business objectives.
• Manage assigned retail and wholesale accounts while executing strategic business plans.
• Drive product distribution, merchandising excellence, promotional execution, and product freshness standards.
• Analyze market, sales, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.
• Ensure effective routing, call coverage, and execution across the territory.
• Monitor business performance, communicate goals, and implement corrective strategies when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development and Strategic/Key Account Managers.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and development planning for team members.
• Maintain accurate reporting of retail and account metrics.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
