Job summary

This player-coach role combines team leadership with direct account management and drives retail sales, distribution, merchandising, and promotional execution. Responsibilities include coaching a sales team, managing accounts, analyzing market data, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to grow customer bases and ensure high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years in retail sales or related fields.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with Excel, Salesforce, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve regional objectives.
• Manage assigned retail and wholesale accounts while executing strategic plans.
• Drive product distribution, merchandising excellence, and promotional execution.
• Analyze market, sales, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.
• Ensure effective routing, call coverage, and execution across the territory.
• Monitor business performance, communicate goals, and implement corrective strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development and Key Account Managers.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and development planning.
