Swedish Match, a PMI U.S. affiliate, is seeking a Retail Team Manager to lead sales and execution within an assigned territory.

This player-coach role blends team leadership with direct account management to drive distribution, merchandising, and promotional execution. You will coach a team of sales representatives, manage retail and wholesale accounts, analyze market data, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to grow customer growth and achieve regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in retail sales or related fields.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience with MS Office and Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve regional objectives.
• Manage retail and wholesale accounts while executing strategic business plans.
• Drive distribution, merchandising, promotions, and product freshness.
• Analyze market and sales data to identify growth opportunities and action plans.
• Ensure routing, call coverage, and execution across the territory.
• Monitor performance, communicate goals, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Key Account Managers.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and development for team members.
• Maintain accurate reporting of retail and account metrics.
• Foster integrity, accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
